– Everyone’s favorite Sean Avery is back!
According to reports Sean Avery has been recalled by the New York Rangers AHL team; he isn’t eligible to start any fights until Nov. 3 against the Ducks.
– Kronwell gets seven year extension from Red Wings
Detroit has signed defenseman Niklas Kronwell to a seven-year contract extension that will run until the 2018-19 season. The deal is said to be worth $33.25 million with the average yearly salary of $4.75 million
– All-Star Game gets a sponsor
This year’s All-Star Game will be played in Ottawa on Jan. 29 and will be sponsored by Tim Horton’s which is a popular donut stop in Canada. Horton played in the NHL from 1949 until his untimely death in a car crash in 1974.
