Jets lose game but not their fight

–        Kings end five-game losing streak

Fear not Kings fans.  The team rebounded from a five-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the Predators.  Jonathan Bernier filled in for Jonathan Quick between the pipes and made 27 saves to get his first win in three starts this season.  Simon Gagne, Mike Richards, Drew Doughty, and Alec Martinez put the biscuit in the basket for the Kings.

–          Hitchcock gets first win out of the way
The new face behind the Blues bench was Ken Hitchcock.  His St. Louis Blues outplayed the Chicago Blackhawks and notched a 3-0 victory.  Jaroslav Halak had 29 saves.

–       Khabibulin stays hot

The Bulin Wall made 28 saves in a 3-1 Edmonton victory over the Montreal Canadiens.  His 7-0-2 record is very impressive.  Perhaps more impressive is his 0.98 GAA and .963 save percentage. For all you fight fans, here is a doozy.  The Jets’ Tanner Glass goes skate to skate with Buffalo’s Cody McCormick.
