Catch Up on Today’s BIGGEST NHL Headlines
Luongo’s out, Rangers keep winning, a video to watch, and all of tonight’s games.
– Luongo sits with the ever popular upper body injury
A good old fashioned rivalry continues tonight in Vancouver when the Canucks host the Chicago Blackhawks. The Canucks will be without goaltender Roberto Luongo, who has decided to sit with an upper body injury (crowded tear ducts? bruised ego?). The Blackhawks will be without defenseman Brent Seabrook, but will get Dave Bolland back. Look for Kevin Bieksa and Daniel Carcillo to tangle.
– Rangers stay red hot
The Rangers beat the Islanders for their seventh straight win. What’s the reason for this hot streak? Perhaps it’s Brad Richards’ new relationship with Olivia Munn. The team has gone 7-0 since they started dating. Or it could just be they’re playing good hockey. For entertainment’s sake, we’ll say it’s a combination of both.
– Chris Stewart to have a hearing Wednesday
Blues forward Chris Stewart will meet with NHL officials for his hit on Red Wings defenseman Nikolas Kronwall in Tuesday’s game. Stewart was given a five-minute major for the hit.
