- Crosby, a case of the hot Bruins, and all of tonight’s games.
– HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOCKEY!!!!!
Happy birthday to the greatest league there is! The NHL turns 94 years young today. In honor of this momentous day, they give you three games including a real slugfest between two juggernauts: the Edmonton Oilers and the Nashville Predators. *crickets*
– Sid the Kid Hangover
Sidney Crosby is back in case you’ve been living under a hockey-free rock for a couple days. He tallied four points, which included two goals in the Pens’ 5-0 win.
– Bruins win 9th straight
Tim Thomas racked up another shutout and the Bruins racked up another win. That makes it nine straight for the B-men. Thomas made 33 saves in the 1-0 victory over Montreal. Boston has not lost since the end of October. The longest win streak in Bruins history is 14.
– What else is there to report other than the return of Crosby? Nothing. This marks a very monumental day in the NHL and keeps the WTHII team busy. Here is what the rest of the NHL thought about Sid the Kid lacing up the skates once again.
– In honor of Sid’s return, here is a link to one of the more popular head shots in the NHL. This hit ruined two careers, Marty McSorley and Donald Brashear. Here it is for your viewing pleasure.
