Chicago Blackhawks 4 at Minnesota Wild 3 F/SO – Great game tonight on Versus tonight (last night’s TV game also went to a shootout, but I’ll keep that on the down low) between teams that should be in the same division – Chicago and Minnesota. The Blackhawks took 2-0 lead on a pair of goals in the second during a span of a minute and 14 seconds. Minnesota by periods end tied the game up, the teams alternated goals in third, and overtime wasn’t enough. Chicago was 2-for-2 in the shootout with the winner coming on an awesome goal from Patrick Kane (Jonathan Toews scored Chicago’s third goals in regulation) to cap the win for the ‘Hawks; the Wild were 0-for-2 and have lost back-to-back games.
Phoenix Coyotes 1 at Anaheim Ducks 4 – These two teams both came into the Honda Pond with losing streaks so the question was who’d win?
