Did you not expect us to have a picture from the Sharks-Jets rumble in Winnipeg?

Sure there were other games on Thursday night, but Brett loves musicals so we focused on Sharks-Jets in Winnipeg

Montreal Canadians 1 at Boston Bruins 2 – Boston dominated this game throughout the ‘Habs got the last goal of the game making the score look closer. Milan Lucic scored his 15th goal of the season for the B’s.

Philadelphia Flyers 3 at New York Islanders 2 – Philadelphia scored one goal in each period to defeats the Islanders on Thursday night. Scott Hartnell put in his 19th goal of the season for the Philly to kick start the scoring.

Ottawa Senators 3 at New York Rangers 0 – WTHII shocker with Ottawa going to the garden and shutting out the pretty dominant Rangers. The three goals were by the Senators first six of the all-star game, Milan Michalek scored his 23rd of the season.

Carolina Hurricanes 4 at Tampa Bay Lightning 1 – Carolina had all they needed in the first period scoring four of their five goals in the first. Jiri Tlusty put in two of the four goals in the opening period for the ‘Canes in the win.

Phoenix Coyotes 2 at Detroit Red Wings 3 F/SO – Phoenix led 2-1 with ten minutes to play in the third before Detroit tied the game up. The Wings were 2-for-4 in the shootout to claim the victory over the ‘Yotes at the Joe.

Vancouver Canucks 3 at St. Louis Blues 2 F/OTJason Arnott scored twice in the game but it wasn’t enough for the Blues. Vancouver got the win in OT when Daniel Sedin put in the winner 46 seconds in on a powerplay.

Colorado Avalanche 2 at Nashville Predators 3 F/OT – Colorado scored twice in the first period which Nashville scored once in the second and tied it in the third. David Legwand second goal of the night was the winner 34 seconds into overtime.

San Jose Sharks 2 at Winnipeg Jets 0 – So many Westside story jokes that will go unused but the winner was the Sharks who had fans on twitter say things that were popular the last time they played in Winnipeg 15 years ago. San Jose scored in the second and added another in the third to get the win.

Minnesota Wild 2 at Chicago Blackhawks 5 – The difference in this game was the three goal second period which Chicago scored unanswered. David Bolland scored two goals on the evening.

Anaheim Ducks 0 at Calgary Flames 1 F/OTBlair Jones had the game winner in OT 1:51 in which was the lone goal of the game. Miikka Kiprusoff had the shutout for the Flames.

Dallas Stars 5 at Anaheim Ducks 4 F/SO – The Kings had a 4-3 lead with six and a half minutes left in the third period. Loui Eriksson scored his second goal to send the game to OT and scored the only goal of the shootout.
