Weber out indefinitely

Check your head, WINNING, all of the lights,  goalie drama in the Windy City plus much, much more….

–          Another two bite the dust
The concussion bug has hit Nashville and one of the league’s top defensemen.  Shea Weber will be out indefinitely with what the team originally called an upper body injury.  He has 29 points in 35 games this season.  Newly acquired King Simon Gagne will also miss an undisclosed amount of time with a concussion.

–          Cunneyworth pops his cherry
Despite his lack of the grasp of the French language, Randy Cunneyworth got his first win as coach of the Canadiens last night.  The Habs snapped their five-game losing streak with a 6-2 win over the Ottawa Senators.

–          NYC gets Winter Classic Fever
The Empire State Building will be getting a little blue….and orange this weekend.  In honor of this year’s winter classic the east side facing MSG will be lit up with Rangers colors while the side facing Philadelphia will be lit in the Flyers orange and white.

–          Goalie battle continues in the Windy City
Corey Crawford will get the starting nod Wednesday after his impressive outing against Columbus Monday night.  Ray Emery has taken on most of the starting duties this season after last year’s starter Crawford got off to a bit of a rocky start.
